Aspen Spa Management supports each client in choosing the best customized spa concept based on their vision and goals. All projects ideally begin with a market study to determine the best type of spa and services to reach the targeted clientele. A feasibility study follows to determine the economics of implementing the ideal spa, based on the market and the clients’ objectives.
We provide a complete package including concept development, menu creation, space planning and equipment recommendations through to opening. Aspen Spa Management may also intervene partially based on the needs of each client and individual project. Based on our extensive worldwide experience, we are particularly attentive to the hidden problems of spa operations such as spatial architectural layout considerations as well as electrical and plumbing requirements.
Aspen Spa Management provides staffing assistance, staff training and pre-opening services. Ongoing management and operational guidance is available through our management assistance agreement which has been created to address the need for qualified spa managers and directors.
SPA INSPECTIONS
This service consists of a mystery shopper evaluation providing an unbiased evaluation of the entire spa operation. Inspectors are sent to the spa anonymously to evaluate the treatments and the general operations of the spa. Recommendations for improvement are submitted in the form of a written report.

SPA EVALUATIONS

Aspen Spa Management thoroughly analyzes the viability of your project through a complete evaluation of the spa from both a technical and operational perspective. We evaluate the spa’s concept, physical location, layout, products & treatments, staffing & compensation, marketing and financials. Once completed, we provide an in-depth report of our findings. The report includes an overview of observations and provides recommended solutions.

SPA DESIGN CONSULTING
Aspen Spa Management provides input in all areas of spa design. Based on each projects requirements, Aspen Spa Management determines the ideal spa location, whether a new site or within an existing structure. We work closely with our clients to create optimal traffic flow patterns and functional & creative design solutions. In the instance of a predetermined space, we are able to take an existing floor plan and create a layout to enhance productivity, support the general operations and stimulate revenue.
EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS
Aspen Spa Management determines the best possible equipment and recommends the appropriate type based on functionality, esthetic appeal and budget. We work closely with the project architect and provide equipment specifications along with a detailed layout of the spa indicating FF&E placement. We assist our clients in ordering, arranging delivery and supervising installation.

STAFF RECRUITMENT & TRAINING
Customer service is an essential element of spa operations and success. Aspen Spa Management guides each client in cultivating a team of spa professionals. We help our client’s pre-select, interview and hire candidates for managerial, technical, and administrative positions. We create customized training programs and oversee the process in order to ensure a consistent five star customer service experience.

PRE-OPENING ASSISTANCE
Aspen Spa Management provides customized solutions in anticipation of a spa opening to ensure a successful launch. Pre-opening services include the creation of staff manuals that contain job profiles and standard operating procedures. We recommend spa software requirements, management systems, and reporting guidelines. We deliver internal and external marketing solutions and custom seminars related to hospitality and retail sales.

MANAGEMENT ASSISTANCE
A management assistance agreement places Aspen Spa Management (ASM) at the helm of the spa operation. ASM acts as the de facto Spa Director with the on site Spa Supervisor reporting directly to ASM on all technical and operational issues.
